First Announcement of the International Conference-School
“Shilnikov WorkShop 2019”
Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, December 12-13, 2019
International Conference "Shilnikov Workshop-2019" dedicated to the memory of the outstanding Russian mathematician Leonid Pavlovich Shilnikov (1934-2011) will be held on 12-13 December, 2019 at the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod. The topics of the Conference include but not restricted by the following themes ofthe theory of dynamical systems: bifurcations, strange attractors, conservative and mixed dynamics, as well as applications of the theory to mathematical models from the science and engineering.
The Shilnikov Workshop has been holding at the University annually since 2012, its date is close to the L.P. Shilnikov’s birthday, December 17. This year the conference is timed to his the 85th anniversary. In this regard, during the conference it is planned to open the Laboratory named after L.P. Shilnikov at the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod.
Also, in the framework of the Conference, special sessions will be performed in honor of the 75th anniversary of remarkable scientists of the Lobachevsky State University Lev Mikhailovich Lerman and Albert Dmitrievich Morozov whose pioneering works in the theory of dynamical systems are well known to specialists throughout the world.

In this year the conference Shilnikov WorkShop 2019 is the second part of our joint Conference "Topological Methods in Dinamics and Related Topics. Shilnikov WorkShop" spending by the Lobachevsky University of Nizhny Novgorod , and the High School of Economics, Nizhny Novgorod branch.
